Refund Policy

RedditDataAPI.io uses a unified credit balance ($1 = 10,000 Credits). You add credit to your balance, and each billable request is deducted at the rate on the pricing page. Purchased Pay-As-You-Go credit does not expire.

The refundable amount is the smaller of two numbers:

• the total you paid us in the last 14 days, and
• the unused credit value currently on your paid balance.

Two examples:

In the second example, the extra $15 on the balance comes from payments older than 14 days or bonus credits. It stays on your account and never expires, but it is no longer refundable.

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and tell us the amount you would like back. We will confirm the refundable amount before anything is processed.

Refunds are sent back through the payment method you used where that is possible. For crypto payments we will confirm the details with you by email. Once a refund is issued, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance.

If you were charged twice, a payment did not reach your balance, or credits were deducted incorrectly, tell us as soon as you notice. We will investigate and put it right, either by refunding the payment or by restoring the credit, regardless of the 14-day window.

• Credit already used for requests, including requests sent by mistake or by a bug in your own code.
• Payments made more than 14 days ago, except for billing mistakes.
• Promotional credits, such as the 500 sign-up trial credits. They are used before your balance and have no cash value.

If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us before you go to your bank or card issuer; it is almost always faster. While a chargeback is open, we may pause the account concerned, and we will provide the payment network with the records it asks for.
